Dress Preview
I am diligently working away on the dress as featured in the Chronicles. There is still much work to be done and the wedding is fast approaching. I decided to take a break and write this little tidbit. I have some last minute changes and I am really under the gun. However, unfortunately, there is only so much I can do at a time, especially when my fingers start to hurt. For time purposes, I decided to glue some of the lace motifs into place. Not my preferred method, but it works pretty good. I’ve still chosen to hand sew all of the scallops in place though, as they need a little more shaping and and a I want the drape to stay the same. Plus, the mesh is so fragile, I don’t wont to weight it down. MOB asked for more lace in the back, so I’m obliging. I just finished hand-picking the zipper and I still need to tack down the lace edges, make a change to the hem line and figure a way to bustle it around all of the additional lace I just put on. Anyway, here is a quick snap shot of the dress, I will have a better picture online very shortly. The dress is coming along beautifully and is is looking outright gorgeous! And if you think the front looks good, wait until you see the back!
