Sewing Lessons

Build your child's self-esteem or learn a new skill-learn how to sew. I offer formal sewing lessons for children from age 8 and adults. I also offer Getting Ready to Sew for younger students ages 5-8 or those not quite ready for formal sewing lessons. (The ability to use scissors is a requirement for beginning to sew.)

Classes for children and adults range from beginning basics to advance techniques and specialty sewing. I have year-round, multi-level classes for beginning and continuing students, summer camp classes and classes for homeschoolers. Homeschool sewing classes are also available as a semester class for home economics credit complete with certificate of completion. Plus, students get to show off their work in periodically planned fashion shows.
